Safety Information Our glass is toughened Grade A Safety Glass manufactured to AS/NZS 2208. Toughened safety glass can shatter if impacted for example: If you bump the corner or edge on a hard surface. Damage to the edges can cause the glass to shatter into small fingernail sized pieces instead of sharp shards, this makes it less likely to cause severe injury or deep cuts. Appropriate protective safety equipment should be worn when handling toughened glass including safety glasses, steel cap boots, leather apron and rubber or leather glass handling gloves.
