| Gate |
Ensure gate posts are 920mm apart. Very important.
Attach hinges to glass gate first. Hinge body faces out away from pool.
Screw glass gate with hinges attached to hinge post, using self drilling screws or similar.
Attach magna latch to glass gate with the latch on the poolside (inside) of gate, then the other half to latch post.

|
Panels & Posts |
Set posts up 30mm less than actual panel of glass to be used.
Example: 1250 glass 1220 between posts, this gives you 15mm of glass into post and will not slip out.
You must place a small piece of rubber or nylon between the bottom edge of glass and the post where it is seated.

|
Glazing Rubber |
Rubber is used both sides of glass, the rubber has two sides. The side that has 2 grooves goes up against the glass.
Cut rubbers 50mm longer than height of glass and place into soapy water this makes slip into posts easier.
Glue post caps on with silicone / construction adhesive clean any excess off immediately.
|
|
| |
Make sure posts are level across the top as well as vertically.
Do not place glass on any hard surface, example; concrete.
Panel of glass next to hinge post must be siliconed and rubbered prior to installing gate.
Make sure silicone has set.
